N8CIA Callsign Claim and Privacy Terms

Effective date: 2026-05-10

  1. Data source. N8CIA lookup data is derived from FCC licensing datasets and related public records.
  2. Claim process. Callsign claims may be auto-approved provisionally or routed to manual review when conflicts or profile mismatches are detected.
  3. Conflict adjudication. First active claim holds the callsign pending any admin review. Competing claims are reviewed by site administrators.
  4. Privacy modes. Users may select normal display, hidden display, or obfuscated display for N8CIA public surfaces.
  5. Obfuscation behavior. Obfuscated mode masks callsign/name and suppresses street-level address display on public views.
  6. Instant undo. Users may revert suppression settings from account privacy controls with immediate effect.
  7. Service scope. Suppression applies to N8CIA platform output and does not alter FCC source records.
  8. Abuse controls. Signup and claim forms use anti-automation checks and IP rate limits to protect platform integrity.
  9. Contact/disputes. For claim disputes or abuse reports, contact the site administrator through the admin contact channel.
